Is a Possible Odell Beckham Jr. Trade the Mystery Behind Various Browns Players ‘Cryptic’ Tweets?

first_imgAfter a couple Browns players sent out some rather ‘interesting’ tweets that seemed to be pointing to a major roster addition/move coming, today everyone seems to be trying to decode exactly what that move might be.It’s not been a secret that there’s been some flirtation in the past between the Browns and Giants leading wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., and it seems that a lot of these ‘cryptic’ tweets from players such as Jarvis Landry and Damarious Randall are pointing in the direction of making just that big of an addition to the Browns roster.Beckham is still a very young player at just 26 years old, and last season for the Giants hauled in 77 passes for 1,052 yards and six touchdowns.Plus he and Landry were teammates at LSU and remain good friends to this day, another reason that Landry seems to be well in the corner of getting Beckham to the Browns. So is that really the rumor that has Browns fans wondering today? It seems to be, at least from one NFL reporter, that being Benjamin Allbright, who tweeted out that the rumor is Beckham to the Browns in a deal that could include guard Kevin Zeitler and a variety of draft picks (Beckham isn’t going to come cheap). As Allbright points out though, this ‘rumor’ is not coming from a credible source, but with Browns players themselves tweeting about a possible big move, it’s worth watching. In other words – stay tuned. Since others wont, I will.Basically the rumor that’s out there, with many different variations is a Kevin Zeitler and draft picks plus another player for Odell Beckam.I cannot stress enough that that is a rumor, and not currently coming from any known credible source— Benjamin Allbright (@AllbrightNFL) March 6, 2019 Related TopicsBrownsfeaturedOdell Beckham Jr Matt Loedecenter_img Matt Loede has been a part of the Cleveland Sports Media for over 21 years, with experience covering Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association, the National Football League and even high school and college events.
